The dune bashing was genuinely thrilling, not the tame version I half expected. Dinner at camp was excellent and the belly dance show ran longer than we thought it would, no complaints there.

Waking up to the sun coming up over the dunes with coffee in hand was worth the whole trip on its own. Tent was more comfortable than I expected for actual camping.

The Grand Mosque alone justified the day trip. Our guide knew the history well and didn't rush us through, even though it was a packed itinerary.
